What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mansands Beach is lauded for its spectacular, unspoiled natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, making it a rewarding destination for hikers and dog owners. However, the challenging access via a narrow road and a mile-long rocky trek, coupled with a complete lack of amenities, means it's not for everyone. Visitors should be prepared for an adventure.
"The Kingswear and Start Bay area is one of the most beautiful spots in South Devon. Spectacular cliffs, stunning sea views and unspoiled nature make walking here an unforgettable experience. A perfect place for hiking and relaxing in peaceful surroundings"
Wojciech Zawisza
"Nice beach, very quiet and picturesque. However, to get down there ; first you have to drive the single road that is so narrow for at least 3 miles, then park your car at the National trust car park, then you walk for another mile. The path is uneven and full of rocks. You can force your car to pass that track but it is going to be challenging. At the end of the path you have maximum 3 cars space for parking. The beach is small. Is it worth it? Not really.. but if you like adventure then yeah.. go for it π"
