Reviews Summary

Layton Cemetery is appreciated as a well-maintained Victorian green space, offering peaceful walks and historical interest with views of Blackpool Tower. While generally serene, some visitors have noted noise from maintenance equipment on weekends.

"Big green space on Talbot Road, graves & paths kept in good condition. A good place to walk with benches to sit & contemplate or eat lunch. A living history of graves well worth a visit. Limited parking at entrance."

Gill C

"Please refrain from using those VERY noisy mowers on Sundays. I realise that there are volunteers that do this important work but Saturdays AND Sundays is a bit much, especially on a Bank Holiday weekend when people down Annesley Avenue (including my Mum) just want to relax in their garden whenever it's warm enough. Thank you."

Jane Metcalfe

"Visited to pay our respects at Joe Longthorne’s grave and found a huge cemetery with so many beautiful headstones as far as the eye can see with Blackpool Tower in the background. The cemetery was peaceful and well maintained with plenty of trees around the land."
