"Great walk,we started at the monsal head hotel and took the route to the left down to the waterfall and up to the viaduct then up some steep rocky "steps" to cross the viaduct. We were looking for the chee dale stepping stones which were 4 miles from here through some chilly tunnels..lots of cyclists in here including small children..some great views of the old mill and valleys..8.5 miles from one end to the other.."

"What can I say, that was a surprise. Walking along the Monsal trail I had no idea this would come to pass. I was stunned and also saw cows wandering around, angry at my presence. If you are around Bakewell, it's a must. Can't wait to go back again."
