"It's a lovely bridge but it does have a few issues.
1. If a few people jump up and down it moves quite noticeably
2. When it's icy it can be lethal! It has ridges all the way along that fill with ice so it can be difficult to get grip
3. It's a footbridge, which states no cycling, but this is ignored all the time.
It does add a modern twist to the ancient town of Maidstone and the footfall shows how useful it is."
