It's frequently described as a peaceful escape within the city, perfect for picnics, dog walks, and enjoying nature. The park's facilities and accessibility are also noted as positives.

"Extensive park around Marble Hill House, managed by English Heritage. On the northern side are wide open expanses with sports grounds, and on the south side some more natural areas. The grotto area in front of the house is the most impressive part of the park and has been well restored. The park goes down to the river and can be visited as part of a walk from Richmond Bridge to Twickenham."

"Beautiful park by the Thames! Lots of open space, perfect for picnics, dog walks, and a great day out. The historic Marble Hill House is stunning, and the grounds are always well kept. A lovely mix of riverside views, woodland, and meadows — feels like a peaceful escape in the city. Highly recommend!"

"Spacious open park with some attractive trees, home to the elegant Marble Hill house with ornamental gardens and grotto. The park and house are free to enter, so well worth a visit if you're in the area.
The gardens are small but attractive, with colourful floral beds when I visited in April, and they are being returned to authentically replicate how the gardens would have appeared in the Georgian period. Look out for the Black Walnut tree, an impressive example of its type.
There's a reasonable size parking area on site, with 3 hours free for English Heritage members, long enough to look around the house and gardens and take a short walk along the river. Other facilities include a café, toilets and small gift shop in the house."
