Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Market Hall Museum for its engaging exhibits, especially the ingenious working beehive and hands-on activities for children. The free entry is a major draw, though donations are encouraged. While small, it's considered a hidden gem offering a wealth of local history and a friendly atmosphere.
"What a little gem! Fascinating exhibits, from fossils to a live bee hive and lots in between. Particularly impressed with how child friendly and interactive it is, including rebuilding a broken vase and a charming animal puppet automaton thing. Free! Couldn't resist the little shop, somehow managed to resist the cakes in the coffee shop (they looked delicious). Why would you go to Costa Coffee if you had this right opposite? Loved it."
Alison Hull

Reinaldo Caeiro
