What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise McDiarmid Park for its modern facilities, convenient onsite parking, and friendly staff. The clear pitch views and the unique 'Hospital Rádio' commentary are often highlighted as positives. However, some guests have noted issues with long queues for refreshments and limited food options during busy match days.
"Lovely day at McDermid to watch Saints. The reception staff was very nice and welcoming. The queue for the pies moved fast. It was a shame the pop wasn't cold. The staff for the snacks were working quickly and efficiently. Overall great experience. Loved being able to hear the match with the description from Hospital Rádio. I don't understand much about soccer and it was great to have the narration. The toilets were clean and well lit. Will be back!"

"Visited here as an away fan.
The fact that they have an onsite car park for £5 is both great value and very convenient.
We were frisked going into the ground by the stewards, which I've not had done to me at a game for years!
The stadium is modern, and the visibility from seats was great.
However, they need more capacity to serve fans refreshments. Pre-game, one of the two shops inside the stand, had no hot food. So the queues were massive.
This was the same at half time. In fact, I didn't even bother waiting to buy a pie or bovril as the queue was so big. Pooly organsied."

"Lovely ground, perfect location and access.
Went to show my son and we were both kindly invited in and shown around. Very welcoming and it was a pleasure."
