Reviews Summary

Middleton Park is widely praised as a fantastic free resource for families and outdoor enthusiasts, particularly for its excellent urban bike park and scenic walking trails. While parking can be busy on peak days and some visitors note concerns about dirt bikes, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its natural beauty and community spirit.

"Middleton Park is a great place for a dog walk or to take the kids for a play, there is plenty of field space to enjoy, a lake to have a sit by and relax. A cafe to stop at for a bite to eat or a drink. A kids playground with plenty of things to play on. A nice little ride garden up past the lookout point at the top of the hill. There are also plenty of woodland walks to have an explore. Friendly people and staff, clean and tidy too."

Robert Riley

"Wonderful day out with our preschoolers. The urban bike park is simply fantastic; well thought out and maintained, clear signage, something for all abilities.
The cafe was fantastic; lovely staff, reasonably priced menu and great atmosphere.
Short wander through the rest of the park was really nice with a lovely view point and lots to explore.
The parking was quite full, but we did arrive mid-morning on a sunny bank holiday so that's not massively surprising. Despite being busy other visitors and users were respectful of the space needed by younger or less-experienced riders and there were very few ignoring the direction markers"

Rae Helm Perkins

"Large and semi wild park with amazing view to the Leeds skyline. Unfortunately, the place is overtaken by dirt bikes which you can hear in most places in the park. Also, the place does not feel safe."
