Little remains of the extensive Estate and the Theological Seminary except for the Gatehouse, the entrance gate, “Italianate Greenhouse” and a parcel of grounds now comprising the George VI Memorial park.
The impact and silhouette of these timeless buildings considerably drained and diminished by the enveloping, smothering surrounding trees and undergrowth.
Montefiore, an exemplary philanthropist, humanitarian and Titan among eminent Victorians deserves better."
