Reviews Summary
Newcastle-under-Lyme Market is praised for its diverse daily themes, from lively Saturdays to unique artisan and food markets. "Every day there is a different style of market. Whether it is the busy Saturday market, arts and crafts, or the continental food market I visited today. The retail environment is difficult for many towns, and Newcastle-under-Lyme is no different. However, there seems to be momentum to make the most of the facilities. Its a historical market in the centre of town. Local favourites are the jacket potato man, the flower man and the veg stall. Set in the centre of town, its always worth a walk through on the way to Bygones tea rooms or Poundland. Saturdays there used to be a guy flogging meat from a van from Wolverhampton with a loud speaker. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to be around any more and you can enjoy your browsing in peace."
