"Good day out with an eclectic mix of exhibits and staffed by knowledgeable, friendly volunteers. We had a great chat about the Argentinian Pucara in the main hangar.
There's a shop/reception with seating in the rear and a drinks machine, plus clean, accessible toilets.
Parking's free and ticket prices are very reasonable.
Good value for money and well worth supporting."

"One of my favourite places in the North East. Smells like your Grandads garage and bring back a nostalgic feeling in bucket fulls. The airplanes themselves are amazing to be up close and even inside some. You can sit in the cockpit of many planes and in the passenger seats of old commercial planes. The collection of stunning machinery inside and outosde is impressive. One of the planes a Vulcan if i remember correctly was flown in with many others then settled in their place.
A fantastic day out and lovely staff there to talk to you about each machine. Plenty of cars and buses on site too with many other vehicles from amphibians to rail tracked. There is regular events on too so check their website for details."

"We enjoyed this so much we came back again and were not disappointed. Some incredibly friendly, helpful and kind volunteers made this a particular highlight of the holiday. A large number of exhibits well arranged to make maximum use of the space. There are some vehicles that you can sit in and enjoy a photo. Some particularly notable aircraft are the Vulcan bomber, the Tornado, the Hawk, the Harrier and the Seaking helicopter. You really can't appreciate how awesome these are until you're up close and personal."
