"I spent some time here spread over 3 days. I enjoyed walking alongside the river Ouse taking my time taking in the breathtaking views. I walked from Lewes to Newhaven and back again though I did walk across the downs from Pidinghoe to Peachaven and back as well in this time. I saw Egret's, Cormarants, Kingfishers (yes more than one) Swans, Grebes etc. I was drawn to the landscape and how it affected the clouds rolling over the downs. Sheep, cattle both heifers and bullock's roaming about. So much to see and so much surrounds one as you explore. If you are lucky you might see the wild swimmers catching the high tide at the right time before it returns. Brave people especially in November brrrr ."
