Visitors appreciate the opportunities for dog walking and the chance to spot wildlife like parakeets. The main drawbacks are the muddy trails and occasional litter in the car park, with some finding it less accessible for prams or wheelchairs.

"Lovely walk along the canal from Aldridge to the park lime pits, was a lovely sunny day.

Take a photo of the map as some of the arrows have disappeared on the posts got a bit turned around but like a wander so no trouble, it was lovely and quiet even with the sun out. Some steep steps just be careful n where shoes to get muddy."

"Came here as I heard there were Parakeets here. I wasn't disappointed, I counted about 6. I also saw Great Cormorants perched in the trees. Lime Pits is a small area of nature in an urban area. The only negative, the car park gets used for late night activities and they leave a lot of rubbish behind. It's not pleasant to see when you want to go for a quiet walk"
