"Lovely morning spent wandering around Perivale Wood Nature Reserve on one of the rare days they’re open to the general public.
The Bluebells were in full bloom and almost completely carpeted the ancient woodland floor. Truly magical only slightly spoilt by very noisy parakeets!
They were supposed to open at 10am but let me in a bit earlier which allowed a lovely solitary meander.
There’s also light refreshments available - I had a lovely lemon cake and a cuppa.
Highly recommended if you fancy a break from the noise of the city."

"Perivale Wood is a beautiful nature reserve which is only open to the public two days this year when the bluebells are blooming. There were two trails open when I went, a 20-minute wide accessible route or a 30-minute route where there are warnings that you need to be careful.
After the walk, there's a place to rest and pick up tea, coffee, cake, and local honey.
Perivale Wood is a short walk from Perivale Underground Station which is on the Central Line, definitely worth visiting to see nature untouched."
