What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Pilley Bridge Nature Reserve a pleasant, albeit short, nature trail with historical charm. While some note a lack of abundant wildlife, its preserved railway section and spring blossoms are highlights. It's appreciated as a peaceful, accessible spot for a quick escape.
"This is a nice little walk but it is a fair bit shorter than we thought. While it is pleasant area for a walk not a lot I the way of wildlife going on. Even the pond was quiet with just a few aquatic insects on show. We had hoped it would run all the way through tp old pats but it stops at the pond well short of that. I will go back to map for streetview but overall otherwise might go back next spring see if there are any tadpoles kicking around. Otherwise not amazing and the most interesting bit is the 10 meter length of railway track left down there."
