"Fabulous hidden gem with the most helpful staff. Well worth 45/60 min of your time to have a wander around this museum spanning hundreds of years of wartime memorabilia, stories, and uniforms. It goes right up to exhibits on the Troubles in Northern Ireland to the war in Ukraine. The staff are tremendously welcoming. Quite quiet so if you’ve had enough of packed out castles / shops etc and want to unwind and learn something, this is a good diversion. About 8 min walk from the town centre but plenty of shops etc lining the route."
