"I really enjoyed visiting this museum. Definitely worth a visit as you get to see what it might have been like all those years ago working on a coal mine. All staff were fantastic 👍🏻"

"This is a very fascinating and interesting museum, explaining about the coal mining and way of life that went on in this area. Good models and pictures of what happened. Real hard work on the coal face. There was even a canal that came to Radstock before the railway. As well as mining there are displays of the rooms inside houses. The ladies are very knowledgeable. Highly recommended."
Robert Kissane
"My husband and I loved this little museum and spent an enjoyable morning looking at the exhibits. It encompasses more than just the local coal mines. The living conditions of the miners and their families are covered in detail. It also depicts the trades associated with mining. All in all a very pleasant experience and cheap too.(£6 each for yearly ticket). Our only regret being the cafe was closed, could have murdered a coffee at the end of our visit. We will be returning. (30/10/21.)"
