Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Rickmansworth Aquadrome for its beautiful scenery, free parking, and accessibility, making it ideal for walks, dog outings, and family fun. The cafe and canal add to its charm, though some caution cyclists to be mindful of pedestrians and wildlife.
"The park is big and very good for walks, dog walking, to enjoy fresh air. The car park is big but can get fill up quickly on weekends especially on warm days, durring summer school holidays even during the week days. The car park is free much thank you for the council. You can practice different water sports on the lake. Close to the car park is the cafeteria where you can enjoy food, cakes hot/cold drinks or ice cream. The foot path along the park and lakes are easily accessible for wheelchair users, strollers, push cars. Very dog friendly park. The walk around Stocker's lake is more closer to nature (not suitable for wheelchairs). A very nice add to the park is the canal that passes it. You can walk, bike, run along the footpath while enjoying nature, the quiet, seeing the long narrow boats moving along the canal and using the locks. You can spend easily few hours here. The train station is 20 minutes walk from the park."

"A great place to walk and relax. There is a café and children play park. Only problem was while I was walking around the lakes, a dead baby bird was on the ground after having it's head run over by a bicycle( mountain bike ) They need to stop cyclists from going around the nature reserve lakes."

"Fantastic on a sunny day and to see the start of the sunset. One of our party saw a snake in the water near the shoreline.
Car park is free and toilets by the café."
