"Good historical site. Parked in the free carpark around the corner and then walked to the public footpath. The footpath inside is not very well maintained so the bushes cover it a little.
Looks good in rainy weather. Spooky vibe"

"Beautiful hidden gem , easy to find, supposed to be a car park but we could not find it , It was not sign posted, we parked in a layby near the sports club, there are toilet facilities near by in the Village opposite the church, there,s a steep climb up to the rock, but well worth it just for the beautiful vistas of Bodmin moor."
Tony “The old Seadog” Haley
"Really atmospheric.
Stick to the footpath from the road during summer though, as the route from the playing field gets very overgrown with gorse and brambles!
Shame you can no longer climb up to the ruins though."
