"What a tranquil place! So peaceful. We soaked up the history and read all of the signs and notices on the exhibits. Your ticket lasts for a year, there are drinks and ice creams on sale, but it's small and low-key in the nicest way. It's special - that's all I can say - we'll be back."

Website says site closes at 4.30 but when we arrived there was a board announcing they were shutting at 4 and the young woman at the desk said there weren’t any volunteer guides as “we aren’t busy”. There were a few other visitors other than ourselves. We arrived at 2.45 and were charged the full amount (having prepaid online) despite their early closure and no guides. Not much to see other fragments of mosaics and and a small area underfloor heating system. The “museum” comprises just a few display cabinets all very dated in their layout. Would only recommend you go if you are already in the area. We feel we should have been refunded due to early closure and no staff."
