👀 📍Red Rocks, Wellington #redrocks #redrockswellington #wellington #visitwellington #explorenewzealand #hikenewzealand #dr...

Reviews Summary

Wellington Rocks is a beloved spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts, praised for its natural climbing opportunities and scenic common setting. While many enjoy the fun and affordability, some visitors have noted concerns about the presence of dog waste, which can detract from the overall experience. Reddit

"Its quite an enjoyable experience for the kids. We went there on a Saturday it was full of people enjoying the spring sunshine. Even 5 year olds are able to climb the rocks. If you feel scared, you can definitely go from the back where it does not require climbing. Overall good fun for an hour or two. Do remember to wear sensible footwear."

"Used to love this place as a child, I’ve been coming here every year for the last 30 years, unfortunately over the last few years the sheer amount of dog poop in the area has made it a bit of a minefield it’s always been bad but now Instead of looking at the views you’ll find yourself now looking at the floor and where you walk. Such a shame."

Robert Gasson

"A must have place to visit when in Tunbridge Wells, especially when coming with kids. Countless hours we spent on climbing, hiding, squeezing through and jumping. Kids never seem too bored of it ;)"
