Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Sheringham Park as a stunning and peaceful National Trust gem, highlighting its breathtaking coastal views, beautiful flora, and well-maintained grounds. Many appreciate the dog-friendly atmosphere and the variety of walking routes, though some note challenges with specific trails for prams and the need for clearer signage regarding waste bins and cafe policies. Reddit+3

"Wow what an absolute stunning hidden gem! I visited on a Friday Morning around 9am with my dog. It was very easy to find, the car park had plenty of parking. Parking is free for National Trust Members and for non-members it is ยฃ6.50 for the whole day, the machines accept card and coin payment. There are toilets a short walk away from the car park which have an open accessible entrance and disabled, women, baby changing and menโ€™s. There is also a cafe and a second hand bookshop, the cafe has a courtyard and a dog hydration station with water for pups, I didnโ€™t try out the cafe as I was unsure if dogs were allowed inside to allow me to order, this could be made clearer on signage. All routes start and end at the same place making it ideal for people like myself who prefer circular walks. There are 3 routes varying in length. On this occasion, we took the Blue route. This route was on a solid path for the majority of the way with some hills. After walking past the loose cattle, the route continues on grass, up a very steep hill and up some steep steps. There are two benches at the top of the steps to take a breath afterwards! The route itself showcased some absolutely incredible views of the sea and surrounding fields. It was very easy to follow with small blue arrows showing you which way to go frequently so we never lost our way. Also there are a number of benches throughout the route so you can take in some of the views. I will definetely be returning and look forward to plenty more walkies here with my dog!

Note- there are no poo bins/general waste bins on the blue route apart from at the very beginning."

"Really lovely park - spent a sunny few hours walking round, enjoying views, forest paths and flora and fauna. So peaceful. It does have areas where path inclines down and have to climb back. There are areas where cows roam. Picnic area near entrance, small cafe and clean toilets.
These photos are from previous visit but view hasn't changed."

"This park is a real NT treasure! By far one of the best parks I've visited, Young trees and scrubs are well looked after, beautiful array of plants and flowers, easy path routes to follow, spectacular views of the sea and Sherringham house, if you have children a great place for them to run around, learn about nature and find bugs and even fairies houses! Dogs welcome too, such a fantastic park, I enjoyed immensely"
