Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning beauty of Slebech Park, particularly the atmospheric church ruins and picturesque grounds. The hotel rooms are often described as beautiful and clean, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. However, some guests have noted issues with the breakfast service, citing unexpected charges for hot food and a less-than-impressive continental selection, which can detract from the overall upscale impression.

"This place is fantastic. As soon as you start going down the drive you know that you are going somewhere special. The house is beautiful, the grounds are stunning with a derelict church and the original house awaiting restoration. With a wonderful welcome at reception and then shown to your room.

The room I had was beautiful with great views and was spotless. A lovely shower and bathroom as well.

We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Special mention has to go to the two young waitresses whose manner and service was outstanding.

Breakfast was delicious - a fantastic continental selection. Just be aware that continental is included, but cooked is extra.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in in a while. If I'm ever back in the area I will be staying here."

Jon Case

"The rooms are beautifully presented and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room is very quiet.
The location is perfect. The walled garden and ruined church are definitely worth walking to.
The receptionist was lovely.

The breakfast service however was awful. We weren't informed on booking or check-in that there would be an additional charge for hot food. The continental selection was really poor.
The tables were dirty and I had to ask for my knife to be changed as it had clearly been used.
We were told to just sit anywhere, with nobody explaining what was table service and what we needed to order.
Only when we asked about the hot buffet were we brought the menu and told it was an extra charge.
Not what I expected from a hotel claiming 5 stars, really.

Summary: Wonderful location with lovely rooms. The restaurant/breakfast really lets this hotel down."

Carys Rawlings

"We have stayed here 3 times now. It is beautiful, peaceful and the staff are so helpful. It is great to be able to have the included continental breakfast brought to our room. Josie on reception couldn't do enough for us. We will be back. ❀️"
