"One of London's oldest and most historied cathedrals dating back to 1100s. Was one of the Catholic churches taken over by King Henry VIII and rented back to the Church of England. Free entry although £1 donation is requested. Quiet even at busy summer holidays with a good value cafe, souvenir shop, and WC facilities. Many famous tombs including some of the crusaders rest in peace here."
