Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise St. Gregory the Great Church for its gorgeous architecture, particularly its detailed ceilings and medieval stained glass. The clergy and parish community are often highlighted for their warmth, devotion, and the quality of their services, making it a place of both spiritual and aesthetic appreciation. Some visitors recall past negative experiences related to religious upbringing, but these are generally separate from the current positive impressions of the church itself.
"My search for the almighty of the almighties continues. I was raised as a Catholic, as a result, I'll be living with the guilt they beat into me for the rest of my life. Most of the religious buildings I've visited recently have been associated with lesser Christian religions, thought I might get a glimpse of Mr. Omnipresent at St. Gregory's. It was not to be. I remembered being beaten with a length of bamboo by a sadistic nun when I was seven. My crime? I politely pointed out that she had chalk dust on her 'dress'. Yes, Sister Mary Christopher, my stinging palms will remind me that the chalk was on your 'habit'. I was seven, for god's sake! (For who's sake!?). Windows of the stained glass variety, stone upon stone, carpentry as if Joseph himself had done it. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Those holy peeps knew how to knock up a great building."

Traditional RC church. The gospel was very well-explained by the priest. I could listen to him because his words are real life experiences"
