"I visited a family members grave yesterday as i do regular to this beautiful church yard and have done for msny years as i have a lot of loved ones here
However yesterday my family and i were placing flowers on our familys grave when a very big white dog raced across the graves toward us and came up quite close barking and growling at us!
Although i had my young chikdren with me i wasnt scared but the children were .my partner asked our children to remain still, the dog ran off and came back again to further bark and growl at short distance.a couple of minutes later a lady approached and said she was sorry she thought there was no one in the churchyard and called to the fog saying how disrespectful the dog had behaed..
surely the lady is disresspectful and not the dog.?
This is always been a place of peace and quiet where we can continue to visit our loved ones it should not be able to be used as a park..
I have seen on a couple if occasions people that live alingside of this churchyard walking there dogs down the right side of the residential area and have entered through a gare in the fence.
But for a dog to race across the graves on its own and display challeging behaviour is by far unacceptable and disrespectful on the owners part as the lady also remarked she thought he was just chasing the squirrels!"
