What's the best walk where I can see some cows?
This is a bit of a silly question but I haven't seen any cows in a long time and it feels wrong. What's a good walk that's accessible by public transport, ideally not difficult to navigate (clear paths - I've no sense of direction), and will guarantee a field full of cows that I…

Which areas of Manchester have improved and which areas have declined?
I saw a similar question in r/Liverpool, so I thought I'd ask it here too. I think Levenshulme has gotten a bit better, at least from my experience, but I might be completely wrong. I do worry a lot of Manchester has declined in other ways over the past 15 years or so though.…

Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Stalybridge Country Park for its lovely, fresh walks and beautiful reservoir views, noting it's a peaceful and quiet place perfect for relaxation and birdwatching. The accessible routes are also a highlight. However, a significant drawback mentioned by many is the severe lack of bins, leading to litter and dog waste being left behind, which detracts from the natural beauty.
"lovely fresh walk, lots of water, lots of people, wish they'd keep their dogs of leashes but can't help that.
Can't wait to come back in warmer weather!
Bins are non-existent, which makes life a little harder as people are just leaving poop about or poop bags EVERYWHERE!"

"Nice place to walk or sit down and relax, good for parking 👍"

"Great place for a walk, hike or ride with many paths to select. Also liked the fact it has disabled accessible routes. Its very quiet and peaceful and if you love bird watching then this is probably a good place to do so. Only downside is there isn't any designated parking place so if you have a car then you're better to park off the road towards the reservoir."
