"Beautiful building with interesting history. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Food tremendous. I don't know where others are getting their reviews from but we had no complaints. Returned yesterday 3 night stay in the Melton Room. Whilst we were there there was a wedding on the Saturday, the Orangery was beautifully bedecked. Sophie, the bride, seemed delighted with the service. I'd return, most certainly."

"Held my daughters wedding there yesterday. There is no doubt it is a lovely venue. The grounds are beautiful and the food was lovely and the staff were amazing. The only thing that let's it down are the bedrooms. Some of them need a complete refurb and windows that open. A lick of paint around the downstairs area wouldn t go amiss. All in all the wedding rooms were lovely and id like to thank the staff who went above and beyond to make it a perfect day."

"We arrived late & left early in the morning as we used this hotel for a stop off on our way up north. On first impressions as you arrive down the drive way the hotel is visually stunning & gives the impression you’re staying in a national trust stately home. We paid a very reasonable rate for our room & for our needs, what we received was absolutely fine. Inside, aesthetically the hotel more resembles a council office block & doesn’t quite match the outside. My only complaint would be that the mattress was quite poor. I would stay again for the purpose of our visit."
