The site offers a unique connection for those with Clan Ross ancestry and fascinating historical artifacts, including unusual gravestones. "As a part of the Ross diaspora this was a one stop shop for everything Ross. James the resident expert. He is an amazing historian who couldn’t have been friendlier. Even if you aren’t a Ross I still highly recommend a stopover if you are in the highlands."

"We enjoyed our visit, the staff were warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about their local area's history. We were able to park right outside the building and enjoyed the several buildings that have so many interesting artifacts on display. The memorials inside Collegiate Church are fascinating but the most poignant was the booklet made up of photographs of those young men that were lost during WW1 that were depicted on the roll of the dead memorial. Unusual Hogsback Stones in the cemetery, first time I had seen them in person."
