"Although this station is only partially manned , it is a very important s.tation connecting to the entire world rail network. On the east-bound platform, at the far end is a very beautiful nature garden with plenty of sitting areas as well as notifications etc. There is a ticket machine on the west-bound platform. The station is about 5 minutes walk from Thetford Town center with plenty of accommodation of all types. At the front of the old station buildings is " The Railway " a public house and there is an old style red phone box in the very ample parking area provided."
