Reviews Summary
The University of South Wales City Campus is praised for its attractive modern architecture and supportive academic environment, with lecturers noted for their helpfulness. Specialized facilities, like those for Cyber Security, are a highlight. However, some prospective students have found the admissions process frustratingly complex, and there's a desire for extended library hours.
"Studying at the University of South Wales was more than just an academic journey for me. I felt supported every step of the way (( from lecturers who were always ready to listen, to an environment )) that encouraged me to grow both academically and professionally. The balance of challenge and ((encouragement)) helped me discover strengths I didn’t know I had, and that’s something I’ll always carry with me."

"University of South Wales is an extraordinary organisation to work alongside. I currently study at this specific campus which has been a treat. The campus is absolutely stunning with a very attractive structure and plan. The university offers numerous features both academically and facilities to use surrounding the students, these include a canteen with great quality food (although can be a bit pricey sometimes) as well as a very effective library with hundreds of books that are available to borrow and are highly valuable to use for your studies. As for me, the course I am on is Cyber Security which is a brilliant course which gives students the resources to carry out their research and studies and excel in their field with a personal computer as well as a room allocated to the group that you are in to give you a working space and simulate the real working industry that is out there. Overall, the Newport City Campus is an incredibly campus to be associated with and my future years here are very much anticipated."

"Review: ⭐☆☆☆☆
I applied for the MSc Sports Science program at the University of South Wales in January 2025, submitting all required documents. However, the admissions team repeatedly asked for more documents every week, making the process unnecessarily frustrating. Despite being a secondary science teacher from India and an athlete, they canceled my application without any explanation. This university lacks transparency, professionalism, and a structured admission process.
A complete waste of time! I received offers from better universities while USW kept delaying for no reason.
Would not recommend! 👎"
