"Virginia Water Lake is an amazing place to visit with your family! Any season is beautiful, and we’ve enjoyed some lovely picnics there. Walking all around the lake is peaceful and scenic. At the entrance, there’s a nice spot to eat with plenty of options. Parking is usually easy, though it can get busier on weekends. Overall, a fantastic place to spend quality time outdoors — highly recommended!"

"Virginia Water Park is my favourite place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Every walk there feels like a gentle massage for my soul. Its beauty transforms with each season, yet it’s always breathtaking in its own way."

"On a weekday this area wasn't crowded so we had no problem parking. There is a parking fee unless you are a member or friend of the park. There is very little shade in the car park so expect a very hot car when you get back from a walk on a hot day. The walk around the water/lake will take well over 1 hour and is on a well defined and hard footpath. We did see people pushing pushchairs so it is suitable for all family ages. Some people go to walk the various footpaths including one to Savill Gardens, some jog and others take a picnic blanket and sit down by the water's edge. Be aware that dogs are only allowed off the lead in a few places and we only saw a doggy bin near the car park but they do have dog washing facilities at the park entrance. You will find a lovely cafe with inside and outside seating and a shop near the car park. Be sure to download a map of the area if you are visiting for the first time as there are no sign posts around the water indicating distances and directions. We appreciated the ice cream van about 30 minutes into our walk."
