What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wallasey Central Park is a well-loved, spacious green area with a picturesque lake, a charming walled garden, and excellent play facilities for children. Visitors appreciate the variety of activities available, from feeding ducks to sports and cycling. While generally well-maintained, occasional litter can detract from the experience.
"Lovely park, bigger than you think. The lake has lots of geese, ducks and swans. Sometimes when I've been some thoughtless people have left rubbish, packaging from fishing equipment and fast food containers, which is really annoying. But mostly it's a nice clean park, spring is especially beautiful with lots of lovely flowers and a walled garden too."
Julie
"Beautiful walk.
Really big pond (we always feed the ducks).
Large play area for children to play with Zipwire.
Football/basketball pitch located between the play area and pond."
Sophia-Louise Corrigan
"Great park and well kept. The play park had something for all ages, the gardens were nice to walk round with little areas for children, the cafe and toilets were clean and tidy and within the cafe you can buy food for the ducks to go and feed them at the big lake.
There were also some statues and what looked like an exercise bit and basketball/football court (we didn't go that side to see)."
