What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise West Midlands Safari Park for its incredible animal encounters, especially the close-up views during the drive-through safari and the magical overnight stays in Safari Lodges. The park is noted for its cleanliness and friendly staff, making it a great day out for families and animal lovers. However, some find the safari drive traffic frustrating and the theme park rides could use updates.
"Great experience at West Midlands Safari Park! The Elephant Lodge was spotless, beautifully themed, and had amazing views of the animals. Kids loved it. Food was tasty (portions a little small for big eaters). A bit pricey, safari drive was very busy with lots of stop-start traffic, and the fairground could use some TLC. Still, we really enjoyed it and would happily go back."

"Probably one of the best safari parks in have been to in the UK. So many animals visible as you either drove or walked round. The park was extremely clean and all the crew were smiling and hard working. Great day out."

"We had the most unforgettable stay at West Midlands Safari Park in the Giraffe Lodge, and from start to finish it was nothing short of incredible. Waking up to the giraffes right outside our window was truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. The lodge itself was stunning, with every detail thought of, and the service throughout was excellent.
One of the highlights of our visit was the Lion Feeding experience with our amazing guide, Rachel. She was so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the animals, which made the whole encounter even more special. Being that close to the lions while learning all about them was an absolute thrill!
Rachel also took us on the VIP Safari Drive, and it was honestly the best way to see the park. We were able to get up close to so many animals, and her insights and stories brought the whole experience to life. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and we can’t thank her enough.
This trip was booked to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. From the lodge, to the experiences, to the wonderful staff, it was a birthday celebration we’ll never forget.
Thank you, West Midlands Safari Park (and especially Rachel!), for giving us such an incredible experience – we can’t wait to come back!"
