What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wythenshawe Park is widely praised as a beautiful and versatile green space with something for everyone, from its well-kept gardens and woodland walks to its family-friendly farm and playground. Visitors appreciate the free entry and ample parking, as well as the convenient cafe. However, some concerns have been raised regarding animal welfare during extreme heat and crowd management during large events.
"Beautiful park with lots of activities. On the park there is a playground, garden with plants and fish, tennis court, football pitch, bicycle tracks and many more.
Parking is free.
You can find an ice cream van everyday and there is a small cafe where you can buy a snack or a coffee.
There are plenty of activities for the whole family, so come along and enjoy the day!!!"
Victoria Budeanu
"Visited for a concert (twice, on separate years) and this review is based upon just that experience. The signposting isn't brilliant - especially upon exit (after the concerts) - with poor lane availablity - there were lots of bottlenecks for people trying to get out on the southern side of the park. Other than that, it is a good venue, with a nice wide area for the stage. The layout has changed each year, and it is definitely improving, but I feel that the crowd management needs more work."

"A large urban park with an historic old hall, small farm and an amazing, hidden Horticultural Centre with a wide variety of unusual plants and Koi carp."
