What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Dallas Landing Park for its beautiful, clean sandy beach and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for swimming and picnics. While some note littering issues and parking fees, many find it a worthwhile escape, especially for families.
"No glass containers, so why was there all this broken glass in the parking lot? Easter was a week ago and there are still all these plastic egg halves littered around with potato chip bags and can tabs. Surprising to pay $15 to come into a picnic area and have it be so incredibly littered despite having ample trash cans everywhere. It was very quiet though and pretty, so long as you watched were you stepped. Really nice picnic table selections."

"My Zen and my peaceful place. I come here all the time, different days of the week and I love it! The beach/park is very clean. Several trash cans throughout. Parking is $10. Police patrol is visible for safety purposes. It’s nice to see the boats and skis at a distance and they wave when they pass by. People are friendly. Don’t hesitate to bring your family. You won’t regret it."
Atl SWEET
"The lake is absolutely beautiful. If you want to get in a lake and enjoy the beauty of north Georgia this is one of the best places to do it on this side of Atlanta. There are grills and spots for campers which is great for those who need it. The beach is a good size as well and the sand isn’t dirty at all."
