"Nice park for the whole family with lots of activities suited for all ages such as frisbee golf, volleyball, baseball/softball field, playground and a splash pad. There is also walking trails and lots of picnic tables outside and under a pavilion roof. I saw people walking their dogs while leashed so it's dog friendly and there is plenty of free parking with three separate lots. The area is well maintained and clean with plenty of trash barrels around. I felt very safe and with the River road bike/walking path right near by, you have decent walking choices available for all walking levels."

I cannot tell you how many memories I have at this park. My kids grew up here. I coached soccer here. But nobody wants to read a long history about the park from some random guy. Agawam does a great job with this park. Whether it's summer concerts, the frisbee golf course or the 2 distinct parks included in one or the massive expansive parking, School Street Park is a gem in Agawam. There is a great play expanse and basketball court with swings and a merry go round in one part of the park with a massive field and great bike riding paths, then through the woods and over the bridge you can go to another area of the park with a spray park, kids jungle gym area and concert location with a huge field. National Night out is there with tons of things happening even a helicopter that comes down. Great park, great town, don't know why we ever moved away. But Chicopee doesn't have a park like School Street Park! I'll tell you that!"
