The Little Green Bridge is a great way to walk into Alameda or back into Oakland — you can feel the bridge hum and vibrate beneath your feet, and the views of the Estuary on both sides are wonderful. But be careful if you take small children walking across it with you — there's not a lot separating you and the traffic on the bridge…. And be wary of cyclists — they tend to push straight past you on the narrow walkway without slowing down."
