"We had an amazing view from our hotel and spent some time by the pool with friends. Later that evening, we were scheduled to golf 18 holes starting at 6 PM. Unfortunately, rain delayed our start. After hitting the driving range, we returned to the clubhouse, where the staff asked if we planned to wait out the storm. We said yes and headed upstairs to the bar for a drink.After waiting 45 minutes to an hour, the rain finally let up. Around 7 PM we went back down, only to find that our cart had been put away and our clubs were left out in the rain. Once we got another cart, we headed out, but because of the late start, we only made it through six holes before losing daylight. The next day, we called and explained the situation. We asked if we could get a rain check for the back nine, since we only finished six of the 18 holes. Unfortunately, they refused, saying that because we chose to wait out the rain and play, we were no longer eligible. If we had skipped playing altogether, we could’ve received a rain check for a future round. We weren’t asking for a refund, just a chance to play the back nine another day. Instead, we were told there was nothing they could do. It’s a real shame, because the casino and course are beautiful, but the lack of flexibility and poor customer service over something so simple left a very disappointing impression."

"We stayed for a hot but beautiful July weekend. The room was fabulous. Super comfy bed, huge bathroom, 2 balconies! The fridge is teeny tiny, so don't pack too much refrigerated food. The casino was beautiful, with lots of options for slots and video poker. Very helpful staff, even when there was a power outage and had to get a voucher for my winnings. Delicious room service as well. The parking situation is pretty awful though. There is a lot of walking uphill in the sun to get to your car. The pool was pretty messy too. All in all, great stay and definitely recommended."

"Great Casino... but. Concert was happening and it took about an hour standing in line to be able to sit in the lounge. Sandia needs some expansion in the area of drinks and entertainment for non concert goers. Especially when the venue is booked with a big artist. It made me question myself... am I am alcoholic if I stand in line for one drink for over an hour.. with reatrictions- no shots, no doubles, one one per person... INSIDE the casino? Anyway, this is my input. It is still fun, just VERY restricted and small for non gambling entertainment."
