What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests generally praise Alyeska Resort for its luxurious feel, excellent spa, and comfortable beds, with many enjoying the summer activities like hiking and the bike park. However, some find the rooms could use a refresh and note that the resort can be expensive, with occasional communication issues.
"We started out with a communication issue that almost made us cancel but ultimately it was resolved correctly with the help of a Manager named Michael. We really liked the resort overall. The Black Diamond lounge rivaled the top lounges I have been in around the world and definitely is a leg above the majority of domestic hotel lounges. Spa was excellent. Rooms were very nice. The Bathrooms had clearly been updated but the rooms themselves could use a refresh. The beds however were some of the comfiest I have slept in. Very good rest. I would absolutely stay again if we are in Anchorage"

"Nice hotel as part of Holland America land portion of cruise. Understand it's a great ski resort for other half of the year. Good hiking available right outside the door or take the ski gondola to the top. Large bull moose in the pond when we were there. Free shuttle service around town was really convenient."
Tom Kelly
"The Alyeska Resort is very nice. It has a luxury feel (with luxury amenities) without feeling pretentious. Great bars and restaurants. Room was high-end and attractive. Lots of people and groups during our summer stay, but they do a good job of moving everyone around efficiently, so it does not feel crowded. Great place."
