What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Augusta City Hall receives mixed reviews, with many praising the helpfulness and politeness of staff like Westley and Nicole. However, some visitors have reported difficulties with certain departments, particularly code enforcement, and suggest being well-prepared with documentation. Overall, efficiency can vary, and seeking out specific individuals is often recommended for a smoother experience.
"WARNING: Do not buy property in this city! City government is aggressive and seems to almost go out of their way to add unnecessary difficulty and hardship to common situations property owners may face. The code enforcement department is especially unpleasant to work with. The lead code enforcement officer Rob Overton in my opinion, is not qualified to run that department..."

"If you need to see General Assistance, the only one worth talking to is Nicole. She is patient and willing to work with you. The other ladies... not so much!"
Heather
"My experience was good, even for covid being disruptive. I wore a mark, they have hand sanitizer machines. You take a colored piece of paper as you come in the door and return it in your way out. I didn't have to wait. There was only one other person and two windows open. They were polite and efficient. They had no issues when I wanted to register my Harley and Subaru separately and get two receipts. Was a good experience. I went around 8am on a Monday."
