Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Pheasant Run Winery for its unique historic ambiance and the quality of its wines, with many highlighting the attentive and knowledgeable staff. The meat and cheese board is also a popular choice. While not explicitly a children's venue, families find it accommodating. Some visitors are particularly surprised by the excellent white wines.

"We came here for a tasting & had a fantastic time. The owner was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We were a party of 7- including a 5-year-old. While I wouldn't say that this place is overly kid-friendly, we had zero issues & she snacked on some meat and cheeses that we had ordered.

The wines were all very pleasant & the owner did a fantastic job explaining the details of each wine served. The facilities were also very quaint. The setting inside does a great job balancing the history of the building with the atmosphere of a Winery.

Speaking of history, this place is loaded with it. We had a great time reading & learning about the history of the building, which we had never heard about before despite living in Oregon all our lives.

The meat & cheese board was assembled nicely & complimented our wine very well. While I am not very knowledgeable about different types of wines & their details, nothing felt "conflicting" in flavor.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience here."

"What a perfect place to stop while antique shopping. Great atmosphere. Beautifully designed. There's wine for every pallet. I tried the tasting and was so pleasantly surprised 🍷😋.
My friend who joined me is not much into wines, but she did like several of them.
Karen helped decide and knew exactly what we desired.
Next time we come back this is going to be our first stop!"

"Solid wines and a tasty cheese board. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating and interesting stories told by the wine and the setting, in this interesting old bank with a checkered past."
