What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Walkway to the Sea a pleasant and peaceful stroll, offering a nice escape from Hyannis's main street and leading to the harbor. While the path itself is enjoyable, some reviewers note that signage could be improved for clearer navigation, and it might not be a destination worth traveling specifically for unless combined with other local attractions like the Art Shanties.
"A nice walkway and park lading from the Hyannis business area to the port"
Allan “Keep Life Simple” Sensenich
"This is POTENTIALLY a 5-Star walk... it's not well marked along the way & finding a map with actual street names was very difficult. There was a sign with a general map of the trail located at the Artists Shacks near the town park & bandstand. We discovered that the Kennedy Legacy trail overlapped this one. We knew this because that trail is makred with signage on the sidewalk. The Walkway takes you thru a lovely garden memorial at the entrance to the harbor, a beautiful neighborhood on the way towards the JFK & Korean War memorials & Kalmus Park & Beach. There are places in the harbor to eat and/ or get an ice cream. All in all it's a lovely walk away from the busyness of Main St."
