"What a fabulous city park. One of the better city parks Iβve ever seen. It has a nice shady walking trail and plenty of places to stop and sit to watch the river flow by. Very well kept. Excellent place for an evening stroll after dinner at one of the downtown eateries. There is a boat rental place at one end with a shuttle service. Rent a kayak and float the river!"

"Nice place to get out and walk.
At Christmas time they put up lots of lights."
Cherish Stalnaker
"Very nice paved 0.5 mile (one way) trail along the river complete with bamboo, ducks and unbothered felines. There are several long stairway (read stair stepper!) entrances that make for good exercise too. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of traffic noise from the bridge that goes over head."
