We visited the San Jacinto Monument today to soak up a little Texas history! The boys loved the Lynchburg ferry and the elevator ride to the observation deck! We topped off the trip with a yummy lunch at the Monument Inn! @sanjacintomuseum * * #thingstodoinhouston #houstonmoms #texashistory #houston #houstontexas #summer #houstonkids

"We got to the ferry terminal 20 minutes before the 11 a.m service start. Waited for the ferry to start the trip and were boarding on time at 11:00. The trip only takes around 2-3 minutes to but is something you need to do if visiting the area and want to enjoy a delicious meal at the Monument Inn."
