Reviews Summary
Gator Country Adventure Park is a highly-rated family destination in Southeast Texas, praised for its extensive collection of rescued alligators and interactive animal encounters. Visitors love the hands-on experiences like feeding gators and holding reptiles, as well as the educational talks. While some find the park a bit pricey and note areas needing maintenance, the overall sentiment is that it's a fun, informative, and memorable outing for all ages.
"I'm sure it's a great place for kids. Looks like it could use some maintenance . The bathroom I used . There was no door handle. Couldn't get it locked. And felt like a sauna even though there was a AC on the wall it wasn't on. The basketball goal is on the outside wall of the bathroom who a kid pounding the heck outta the wall.. Lots of uneven boards. I think it's overpriced but I know animals have to eat .I would've been happier as a senior if my visit would've been 10 bucks instead of 20.. and then there's even a more expensive price than what we paid. Was $110 for 4 adults. 1 child. Entry fee. I was with others or I wouldn't have went... kind of crazy tu keep pulling on a big gators tail just to use him for entertainment when he was just relaxing.. but.. OK. Been there and done it.."

"Awesome place to bring your family! My kids demand to go here twice a year. They get to see old favorites, enjoy the shows, love feeding the tortoises, holding the snakes, wading with Cayman and talking to the staff as they always have lots of questions to be answered. This trip we got to see the Bobcat who was a new addition, he was very curious and we spent a lot of time simply watching him enjoy the attention. The entryway and new gift shop made the beginning of the visit where you pay for the experience and get your wristband hassle free with very passionate and fun staff there to greet you and answer any questions about the gifts, services and baby albino alligators they have displayed there, as well as the cutest calico kitty who is basically a door greeter. As always our visit was full of fun, kind of a choose your own adventure type of visit and very informative. The staff is amazing, always moving and you can tell truely enjoy what they do. Keep it up Gator Country!!"

"Our first time at Gator Country did not disappoint! We got to see a young man display his awesome alligator skills with 2 of the BIGGEST gators in the WORLD! They also have bunnies, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, emu, and turtles! My daughter loved the splash pad as well. We were invited to a birthday party there today. We will definitely be back! We were there for 3 hours and still didn't get to see everything. The gift shop is nice too. The lady at the register is so sweet. They have a shop cat named Mia. She loves to be petted. The young ladies giving the educational talks and working with the littles to catch the baby gators all did an amazing job! We highly recommend Gator Country!"
