I’m thinking about going spend a couple days and was wondering if there are any fun things to do on weekdays? I’m gonna check out some restaurants of course but are there any events? Good dive bars? Pools maybe? Any area where I’d feel safe alone as I’d be going by myself.

"I visited last week with family but only getting round to writing a review. A very informative and educational place but would not recommend for young children. My fourteen year old grandson just managed to hold interest because no exhibits could be touched. As a visitor to Texas I was made most welcome by the staff. No photography allowed. Apparently you can't spell energy in Texas without O-I-L but my thinking is there needs to be a more balanced view of the oil industry and the negative effects on the environment."
