What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Beaver Lake's natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and excellent camping facilities. The serene atmosphere and stunning sunsets are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the lake offers ample space for recreation, some find the terrain at certain campsites to be sloped, and dining options directly on the water are limited.
"Camping there was very good. Quiet good lake access lots of deer. Saw an alligator gar for the first time."
Papa George Maxson
"The Beaver lake campground was great! There are two different campsites you can reserve. You can reserve a campsite near on the shore, or you can reserve a campsite in the main wooded area. My wife and I camped on the shore which was great! A fire pit, a BBQ stand, and a picnic table was included with each campsite. The only downside was that most the available space to set up the tent was in a slope. Each campsite is $15 a night."
Julien Ward
"This is my favourite place, it accommodates huge crowd. We had a picnic with around 40people and it was fun. Did some barbecue, enjoyed the weather. Played some games. Some of my friends parents were visiting from India, they loved the place too. The sunsetting was amazing. Next time planning to visit the camp sites."
