Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise War Eagle Mill for its beautiful, historic setting and the charm of the working gristmill. The general store offers unique local crafts and products, and the scenic drive adds to the appeal. While the cafe provides a taste of Southern comfort food, some find its offerings and accessibility could be improved.

"Very beautiful drive through country side to get there, and the location is very pretty. The shop is nice, and the food in the cafe is perfectly fine. Fair warning, the bathroom is an outhouse up steep stairs."

"We visited War Eagle Mill while on vacation to Eureka Springs. It was absolutely beautiful! The site of the Mill is just stunning. A real working Mill (and an outhouse). They had a couple little goats on the property that we pet while we were there. The 1st and 2nd floor were made up as areas for shopping handmade goods. They had lots of different homemade canned goods, pottery, goats milk bath and body products and other items for sale. The 3rd floor was a Cafe which was only just opening when we were getting ready to leave so we didn't get the opportunity to eat there. The staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend this place even if you had a moment to come and sit on the porch swing that is off to the side of the Mill and take in the scenic views. It was just so peaceful and pleasant."

"An amazing piece of history! Neat old-timey gifts and some cute goats outside! The cafe left a lot to be desired… and is on the 3rd floor, so there’s stairs involved. ..they could really turn things around if they invested in an espresso machine and had some tea. I heard there were hiking trails, but didn’t see any- it was nice to walk around the property and you could also go down to the stream and take a dip!"
