"About 5 miles of trails here. Very kid friendly with a little stream in the middle. Great bathroom and some elevation change. The trails are marked clearly but sometimes are in need of a trim. There's a nearby overlook that is well worth the stop especially at sunrise. Just know that Balcones Canyonland trails are not connected. Warbler Vista is a drive from here, the trails do not connect."

"I went hiking here with a friend, plenty of parking and a nice set of trails that you can mix and match to make longer or shorter hikes as desired. Make sure to bring plenty of water! There's not a ton of shade and even in nice weather (mid 70s) it can get hot with the sun.
There is a bathroom near the parking, but it was locked when my friend tried the door so it may or may not be usable."

"Beautiful area! We hiked most of the trails. Longest is 2.2 miles and climbs to the top of the ridge. Our favorite was the trail that followed the crystal clear spring-fed creek. No bluebonnets, but plenty of other wildflowers."
